PURPOSE:To minimize the influence of temperature change and to detect the position of a moving body stably with high accuracy, by providing a means which derives an output voltage correcting value set corresponding to a temperature and another means which adds and displays 2nd output voltages. CONSTITUTION:When the moving body 1 is at its initial position, a setter 12 selects a ROM13-i storing the output voltage correcting value from the 1st output voltage of an AC/DC converter 6 and causes the ROM13-i to transfer the output voltage correcting value to a RAM8. When the moving body 1 is inserted into or pulled out from the electromagnetic space between the primary winding 2 and secondary winding 5 thereafter, the AC voltage induced from the winding 5 varies. The AC voltage is converted into a DC voltage by means of the converter 6, and thus, the 2nd output voltage is obtained. An A/D converter 7 digitizes the 2nd output voltage and implements an address signal for the RAM8. When the address signal is impressed upon the RAM8, the RAM8 outputs the output voltage correcting value which is transferred from the ROMs 13-1-13-n and stored in the RAM8 in advance as a digital signal. The correcting value is then converted into a DC voltage and added to the 2nd output voltage of the converter 6 and indicated by means of an indicator 11.
