PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of software by providing an interruption request signal processing means for outputting a preset signal to a high-speed device in response to an interruption request signal and setting a program address to a specific value. CONSTITUTION:A print letter wheel is initialized as the pre-processing where print is started by a print routine. Then an output buffer TM1 is set to logical 1 to call a key earth subroutine thereby applying key searching until an interruption signal int comes. When a timing signal T is outputted from a serial printer 3 the high-speed device to a microprocessor (MPU)1 in this state, the MPU1 outputs a hammer drive signal TM1 to the printer 3 to generate the interruption signal int. Then a key search subroutine is intermitted and a jump interruption by the interruption request is executed to set a mask FF, and after is interruption processing is executed while other interruption signal is not received, the routine returns to the next instruction address by a return instruction to continue the next processing.
