PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of electric field due to a recovered toner to carry a transfer material well by forming an enclosure, where the toner is stored, with conductive materials and grounding the part of conductive materials. CONSTITUTION:The remaining toner on a photosensitive body 1 is scraped by a cleaning blade 3 and is stored in an enclosure 2a. The enclosure 2a consists of conductive materials and is grounded through a wire 5. Consequently, an electric field 19 is formed between the enclosure 2a and the residual electric charge of the toner stored in the enclosure 2a, and an electric field 17 in the direction of a transfer material 4 becomes weaker than an electric field 18 between the transfer material 4 and a carrying guide 7. Thus, the attraction between the recovered toner and the transfer material 4 is eliminated practically, and images of good quality without disturbance are formed, and the transfer material 4 is carried well. |
