PURPOSE:To produce a perfluorobicyclo compd. in the excellent yield by a single-step reaction by electro-fluorinating a bicyclo compd. in hydrofluoric acid in the presence of a transition metallic salt having the fluorinating capacity. CONSTITUTION:The electro-fluorination is performed by dissolving a bicyclo compd. having a condensed ring of a five-membered ring and a six-membered ring into the anhydrous hydrofluoric acid, furthermore adding a transition metal lic salt such as cobalt chloride which has the capacity capable of substituting fluorine for mainly hydrogen contained in the above-mentioned raw material and using an electrode made of nickel. As the above-mentioned transition metal lic salt, fluoride or both chloride and oxide, etc., capable of being changed into fluoride in hydrofluoric acid can be used and about 0.01-10wt% preferably about 0.1-5wt% addition quantity thereof is suitable in the reacted soln.
