PURPOSE:To reduce a length of a mouth portion of a cap, and thereby make installation easy, by reinforcing a flat portion of a rod by an extended portion of a plastic case and a ring. CONSTITUTION:A aluminium rod 2 is driven by a windshield wiper motor to move in right and left directions. The rod 2 is formed with a flat portion 2a at one end thereof. An inner circumferential edge and an upper portion of a hole formed through the flat portion 2a is covered with a case 4 made of synthetic resin. The case 4 is provided with an extended portion 4b for reinforcing the flat portion of the rod 2. A cap 1 includes a skirt portion 1c contacting with a lever, and a mouth portion 1b. An end of a mouth portion 1a covers a ring 4a to exhibit a seal effect. |
