<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the external equipment driven by a power take off (PTO) output shaft from being operated at an excessive speed by operating a carbureter with a governor and rotating the PTO output shaft invariably at a constant speed in a PTO mode. CONSTITUTION:The rotation of an engine 16 is transmitted to an output shaft 34, and the rotation of the output shaft 34 is transmitted to the final reduction gear 40 provided on a rear wheel shaft 38 via a drive shaft 36. A manual transfer lever 62 is provided on the right side of the engine 16, and when this lever 62 is thrown forward into a PTO mode, a transfer shaft 64 is rotated counterclockwise, and the engine rotation is transmitted to a PTO output shaft 60. A carbureter 84 is selectively connected to a traveling throttle lever 86 provided on a bar handle 18 and the lever 85 of a governor 54 according to the operation of the lever 62. As a result, the engine 16 is controlled at a constant speed, and the external equipment driven by the PTO output shaft is prevented from being operated at an excessive speed.</p> |
