PURPOSE:To test a compact disk player easily and accurately by digitizing parallel data outputted from a series/parallel converter and displaying the digitized data. CONSTITUTION:When a search command is outputted from a microprocessor 51 to a controlling circuit, the microprocessor 51 reads parallel data outputted from a series/parallel converter 49, and converts them into a hexadecimal number. A controlling signal is applied to a CRT controller 57, and data corresponding to the hexadecimal number are stored in an area corresponding to CRT picture of a video RAM58, and the hexadecimal number EO is displayed on the area of the CRT picture. A series/parallel converter that converts serial data into parallel data, a device that digitizes parallel data outputted from the series/parallel converter and a device that displays the digitized data are provided, and serial data inputted/outputted to and from the microprocessor are digitized and displayed. Thus, a compact disk player can be tested easily and accurately. |
