PURPOSE:To put out characters at a high speed with a memory of a small capacity corresponding to a datum which selects character output type by storing character code in a prescribed region of a page memory corresponding to an attribute record to be selected for respective output type etc. CONSTITUTION:The data transmitted from an outside device are put into a microprocessor 22 through an interface 21, and interpretted and processed. If a selection of an output type is made by the outside device, the microprocessor 22 forms character records for output respectively to the same attribute of output type on a page memory 23. Then, if the microprocessor 22 receives data for one page, the page memory 23 is closed, and subsequently, a microprocessor 24 processes character records on the page memory 23 one by one, and the data are transmitted to a font memory 27, and font patterns are written into a frame memory 26 and are stored according to the addresses. The microprocessor 24 operates writing addresses on the frame memory 26 which stores font data by an internal coordinate and a rotation angle. |
