PURPOSE:To provide a thermal recording material free of ground fogging, free of discoloration of developed color parts or development of ground color even on contact with an oil or the like, excellent in image stability and suitable for forming a heat-sensitive ticket paper or the like, which comprises a leuco dye and a specified color developer. CONSTITUTION:A color developer of the formula is used in an amount of 1- 6pts.wt. per 1pts.wt. of a leuco dye, e.g., crystal violet lactone, to obtain the thermal recording material. |
