PURPOSE:To obtain a composition having excellent heat-resistance, weather- resistance, impact-resistance and moldability, by compounding a vinyl chloride polymer to a copolymer of a maleimide compound and a methacrylate monomer. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is produced by compounding (A) a vinyl chloride polymer to (B) a copolymer derived from (a) 0.5-60(wt)% maleimide compound of formula (R is H, 1-15C alkyl, cycloalkyl or aryl), (b) 99.5-40% methacrylate monomer containing >=50% methyl methacrylate, and (c) 0-50% other monomer copolymerizable therewith (A+B+C=100%). The amounts of the components A and B are 95-50% and 5-50%, respectively. |
