PURPOSE:To adjust its threshold level without any carriage by attaching a photosensor on the same substrate with a stepping motor and detecting the position of a light shielding plate attached to the stepping motor and thereby setting the track reference position. CONSTITUTION:A pulley 1 is rotated by rotation of the stepping motor 7 that rotates according to the number of input pulses, and a carriage 4 connected to a steel belt 3 is moved back and forth through the belt 3 wound between an idler 2. The position of rotation of a shading plate 5 attached to the pulley 1 can be set by detecting by the photosensor 6 placed on the locus of movement. Thus, the threshold level can be adjusted without any carriage 4.
