摘要 <p>PURPOSE:To realize an optical signal generating part which is small-sized and can match easily an optical axis, and to make a liquid crystal printer having a high imaging quality and a high speed imaging performance, small in size at a low cost, by installing a pillar-shaped concave reflecting mirror between a linear light source and a liquid crystal microshutter array. CONSTITUTION:In order to contain a unit in a limited space in an imaging device, a piller-shaped concave reflecting mirror 308 whose section form a part of an ellipse is used, an optical path is bent by 190 degrees, and a fiber bundle outlet and a microshutter array 309 are installed in the vicinity of two focuses of the ellipse. In reality, a magnification is generated by making a position of the fiber bundle outlet approach the optical axis of a focusing optical fiber array 313, and a setting margin of the microshutter array is gained. As for the quality of material, acryl is used, and a total reflection of an interface to air is used. A luminous flux which does not satisfy the total reflecting condition is condensed to the outside from the microshutter position even if it is reflected, therefore, a drop of a light quantity due to a leakage does not occur. As a matter of course, when the pillar-shaped concave surface reflecting mirror 308 made of aluminum is used, a leakage of a lihgt can be eliminated. According to such a constitution, an optical signal generating part which can be contained compactly is realized, and a liquid crystal printer can be made small in size.</p>
