PURPOSE:To form efficient compaction to form a sand pile, by a method wherein, after a casing penetrated into a ground down to a given depth, is excited and water in a ground is drained through drainage passage formed in the casing, the casing is pulled off as filling with sand is effected. CONSTITUTION:Water drainage pipes 6 are axially installed to the pipe wall of a casing 1 of a ground improving device, and water pass slits 6a having meshes are formed in the hole surface of the pipe wall. The casing 1 is penetrated down to a given depth as the casing is vibrated, and is vibrated, and is vibrated at said depth. Water in a ground therearound the casing 1 is raised within the pipes 6 through the slits 6a along the excitation, is drained in a sand receiving hopper 10a, and a ground is compacted. Thereafter, sand is charged in a drainage pipe 6 through the sand receiving hopper 10a, and the casing 1 is pulled off as the casing is excited. |
