PURPOSE:To communicate effectively with an external computer by providing an arithmetic part which operates through a ROM and allowing the control part to maintain a timer control function which varies the switching time from reception to transmission. CONSTITUTION:Data on a special card for control is read in the arithmetic control part 1 through a card reader 5 and the switching time from reception to transmission is inputted on a keyboard 4. Then, when a request for data transmission is received by data input/output equipment from an external computer, the arithmetic control part 1 reads the switching time T out of a RAM3 to preset a timer control part 9 and start a timer. This control part 9 sends an end signal to a communication control part 7 when the timer clocks the switching time T, and data B, etc., are transmitted to the external computer. Consequently, a communication with any computer is made as long as its electric characteristic is the same, and the communication efficiency is improved in conformity with the communication function of the external computer. |
