<p>PURPOSE:To reduce an external dimension of a steering lock, by providing a rotation stop projection of a stopper plate rockably supported by a support shafts perpendicular to the axis of a cylinder lock, and designing the projection to be moved in the axial direction of the cylinder lock. CONSTITUTION:A stopper plate 15 is formed with a rotation stop projection 16 projecting from an inner edge at a central portion to the center of the plate, and is arranged at an outer circumferential portion of a cam member 4 in such a manner as to be supported by support shafts 17a and 17b perpendicular to the axis of a cylinder lock 3. The rotation stop projection 16 is biased by a biasing spring 19 in such a direction as to come into sliding contact with a recess 18 circumferentially formed on an end surface of the cam member 4. The recess 18 is formed with an engagement projection 20 in a mating relation with the rotation stop projection 16. The engagement projection 20 is formed with an inclined portion 20a on the side of an on position and with a stepped portion 20b on the side of a lock position.</p> |
