<p>PURPOSE:To use a tape player in safety by providing an electromagnet and a rotary lever having an engagement part which allows the electromagnet to attract an attracted plate. CONSTITUTION:A switch 74 is connected to an exciting circuit for the electromagnet 35 and an operation piece 72 is provided at a proper position of a tilt frame 4 so that the switch 71 is open when a cassette holder 3 is at a nonplay position and closed by the downward tilting of the tilt frame 4 when the cassette holder reaches a play position. The cassette holder 3 is inhibited from moving down because of the presence of foreign matter W and even when a projection 63 engages a guide groove 64, backward movement is allowed and the tilt frame 4 is in a sufficient tilt state, so the operation piece 72 never closes the switch 71. Therefore, the electromagnet 35 is not excited and the lock mechanism for an ejection member which consists of the electromagnet 35 and the rotary lever 29 having the engagement part 32 allowing the attraction of the attracted plate 27 by the electromagnet 35 never operates. Consequently, the tape player is operated in safety and mechanical and electric troubles are eliminated.</p> |
