<p>PURPOSE:To prevent sheets from being overlappedly transferred to surely supply sheets, by providing an intermediate member for preventing the overlapped transfer of sheets on the way of the sheet supply path of a paper feed member for supplying the lowermost paper, and by carrying out the paper feed with the use of a means for supplying paper sheets and for preventing the sheets from being overlappedly transferred. CONSTITUTION:Upon bisurface copying, a lower stage paper feed belt 71 is made in press contact with the lowermost original copy 90 in an upper stage tray 54 through an opening 76. Further, a stopper 89 is released, a paper feed belt 71 is rotated by the rotation of a roller 77 to feed the lowermost original copy 90. At this time, the paper feed belt 71 is rotated counterclockwise. Further, due to the counterclockwise drive of an intermediate belt 79 which is made in contact with the paper feed belt 71 on the way of paper feed, the original copy next to the lowermost one is returned into the tray 54 side. An original copy having passed through the intermediate belt 79 is fed between the rollers 75, 77. Since the opposing roller 75 is rotated counterclockwise, it is possible to prevent two paper sheets from being simultaneously fed, and therefore, the lowermost original copy alone is transferred. Thus, means for preventing overlapped transfer are provided in two stages for paper feed.</p> |
