PURPOSE:To eliminate display error due to temperature characteristic of a load detecting sensor section immediately after the closing of a power source, by transmitting a signal for starting the measurement of an arithmetic control circuit delayed from the time of closing the power source. CONSTITUTION:When a data converted into digital from analog is inputted into an arithmetic control circuit 5, the difference is determined with the arithmetic control circuit 5 between the data and the data memorized temporarily and the data of the difference is compared with a value preset for a delay circuit 8. Then, as the value of the difference becomes less than the reference value, a signal for starting measurement is outputted from the delay circuit 8 to the arithmetic control circuit 5, which shows Og on a display 7 with a driving circuit 6. Under such a condition, weighing is started. This eliminates measurement where changes in the output of a load detection sensor 1 immediately after the closing of the power source are large thereby reducing errors in the measurement.
