发明名称 METHOD OF SACCHARIFYING STARCH
摘要 PURPOSE:In saccharifying starch or liquefied starch, to increase yield of glucose, by using a novel pullulanase-like complex enzyme agent having alpha-amylase activity, produced by a bacterium belonging to the genus Bacillus. CONSTITUTION:A bacterium such as Bacillus subtilis Tu(FERM P-684), etc. belonging to the genus Bacillus is cultivated in a medium containing a nitrogen source, a carbon source, an iron compound, etc., and an enzyme produced outside the mold is collected. The aimed pullulanase-like complex enzyme gent having alpha-amylase activity is obtained from the culture solution after removal of the mold by concentration, salting-out, etc. Starch or liquefied starch is treated with the prepared enzyme agent or it and various amylases such as glucoamylase, beta-amylase, etc., so starch is saccharified to produce glucose.
