PURPOSE:To maintain the security of the content of storage of automatic dial function by regulating the dial transmission and the automatic dial transmission by necessitating inputting of the password to set the mode. CONSTITUTION:When the telephone is dialed while in the wait status, the content of the dialing is detected by a dial-operation detecting circuit 2, and data X is outputted. Being inputted the said data X, a detection result judging circuit 4 reads out the password Y from a storing circuit 3, and collates the data X and the password Y. If the collation results results in coincidence, the system becomes in mode-set status. Then, the transmission regulation mode M1 and the automatic dial transmission regulating mode M2 are set by means of the dial buttons. In consequence, if the telephone calls and inputs the data thereafter, whether or not the mode setting is secured is decided. And if decided as secured, the transmit or the automatic dial transmission is regulated.
