PURPOSE:To count up the number of ICs and to detect the presence of an IC on a fixed position of a carrier automatically by forming the carrier of ICs in a thermostatic oven and arranging the transmitting/receiving terminal of optical fibers oppositely to the ICs passing through the carrier. CONSTITUTION:A shoot rail 4, an IC measuring socket 6, the transmitting/ receiving terminal 9a of the optical fiber, etc. are arranged. A cooler 2 is buit in the thermostatic oven 1 and air in the oven 1 is circulated by a fan 3 to uniform the temperature distribution in the oven 1. The shoot rail 4 is formed in the oven 1, ICs 5 are carried as shown in the arrow A and stocked in the oven 1 like ICs 5a-5c. These ICs are guided and slided by the shoot rail 4 and delivered to the socket 6 successively. To execute said operation, a separator 7 is formed, the IC5a is separated from the IC5b and delivered to the socket 6 and then similar operation is repeated. To detect the working of the device 7 and the socket 6, a projector 8 and the transmitting/receiving terminal 9a are formed.
