<p>A motion module/digitizer includes a first link arm and a second link arm movably connected intermediate the free ends thereof so as to permit translational motion between the free ends thereof. A transducer measures the translational motion. The link arms are mountable at their free ends and transducers measure the three dimensional rotational motion of each link arm relative to the other. An insert can be inserted into one end of one of the link arms, so as to measure the position in space of third, fourth, fifth, ... nth points or combinations thereof. When the link arm is reattached to be mounted on a body, it is possible to measure the movement of the body relative to the third, fourth, fifth ... nth points or combinations thereof.</p> |
