摘要 PURPOSE:To measure temperature contactlessly with high accuracy and reliability by chopping off only infrared rays radiated from a substance to be measured precisely within the visual field of an infrared-ray sensor and forming a horn. CONSTITUTION:The horn 10 has an infrared-ray passage 13 for penetrating infrared-rays 12 radiated from the substance 11 to be measured and forms a chopper passage 15 into which a chopper 14 can be rotatably inserted from the side part on its center part. The pyroelectric type infrared-ray sensor 18 is built in an infrared-ray discharge port part of the passage 13 to prevent the horn from the incidence of infrared rays radiated from an area other than the substance 11 to be measured. While rotating, the chopper 14 chops off the infrared rays 12 at a notched part 17 to supply an intermittent infrared-ray signal to the sensor 18. A signal processor 19 processes the supplied signal together with signals outputted from a photointerrupter 20 and a temperature detector 21 to correct the phase and the room temperature and a linearizer converts the signal into a voltage signal proportional to the temperature of the substance 11 and outputs the voltage signal to a display part.
