摘要 PURPOSE:To attain a test economically and efficiently without forming a complex mechanism for the measurement of inside contamination by arranging a beta-ray detector oppositely to a beta-ray detector and forming a transfer mechanism, a rotary mechanism and an arithmetic unit. CONSTITUTION:The beta-ray detector 1, the gamma-ray detector 2, a hollow substance 3, a carrying mechanism 4, a height detector 5, the rotary mechanism 6, a beta-ray detector driving part 7, etc. are arranged. Since the detector 1 detects the radioactivity of a substance adjacently to the substance, the detector 1 is driven by the driving part 7. In relation to the detector 1, the detector 5 is connected to detect the height of the substance on the way of transfer of the substance 3 by the mechanism 4 and the height of the detector 1 is controlled by the driving part 7 in accordance with the detected height of the substance 3. The detector 2 is opposed to the detector 1 and the substance 3 is carried to the detecting part by a length corresponding to the size of both the detectors in each time and held only in a period which is sufficiently long to satisfy a required detecting sensitivity to execute prescribed measurement.
