PURPOSE:To disperse uniformly a brazing filler metal and to obtain a good brazed joint part by using a compsn. mixture composed of specific cesium fluoroaluminate and Al fluoride having a specific molar ratio of Al fluoride/ cesium fluoride. CONSTITUTION:The flux for brazing consists of the cesium fluoroaluminate or the compsn. mixture composed of the cesium fluoroaluminate and Al fluoride having the compsn. corresponding to 67/33-26/74 molar ratio of the Al fluoride/ cesium fluoride in tems of single compd. The flux has the lower m.p. than the m.p. of the conventional KF-AlF3 and can decrease heating temp. in a brazing stage and therefore the good brazed joint part is obtd. with good brazing workability.
