PURPOSE:To prepare an instant soup square dispersible easily simply by pouring hot water on it, by exposing at least a part of the surface of the freeze-dried intermediate soup material from the surface of the soup square. CONSTITUTION:The objective instant soup square composed of conventional materials, i.e. (A) a solid pasty part obtained by melting or kneading at least a major part of the starchy material and the oil or fat material and if necessary a small portion of other material optionally under heating and (B) a freeze-dried product of the intermediate soup material composed of materials other than those of the component A. A part of the surface of the freeze-dried component is made to be exposed from the surface of the soup square. The instant soup square can be produced easily, and dispersed easily simply by pouring hot water on it. |
