PURPOSE:To shorten the propagation delay time by connecting the first and the second element circuits, each of which consists of three transistors TRs, in the specified order and supplying a precharge signal and its inverted signal to the second and the first element circuits to transmit a carry signal. CONSTITUTION:A carry signal propagation circuit 7 consists of dynamic NAND gates A1, A2, and A3 and NOR gates B1 and B2 of the precharge system, and the gate A2 consists of P-channel MOSTR3 and N-channel MOSTRs 1 and 2, and gates A1 and A3 are constituted similarly, and the gate B1 consists of an N-channel MOSTR6 and P-channel MOSTRs 5 and 4, and the gate B2 is constituted similarly. Gated A1-A3 and gates B1 and B2 are arranged alternately, and output terminals of gates A1-A3 are connected to just higher gates B1 and B2, and the precharge signal is supplied to TRs 6 and 6beta, and its inverted signal is supplied to Trs 3alpha, 3, and 3gamma, and a carry propagation control signal is supplied to TRs 1-1gamma, 4, and 4beta. |
