POINTING KEYBOARD

摘要

PURPOSE:To switch and use a pointing device and a keyboard on the same panel surface by using a touch panel consisting of a transparent resistance film for data input. CONSTITUTION:8 vertical and 8 horizontal resistance wires 2 are arranged in one key top 3 described on a transparent resistance film 1. Each of these resistance wires has the function as one key sense data line and has the function as a point sense data line. When the keyboard is used as the keyboard, only resistance wires 2 of vertical wires 4 and horizontal wires 5 are fetched into a key switch protocol control part 6 as key data and are converted to serial data by a parallel-serial converting part 7. When the keyboard is used as the pointing device is used, point data is taken into a control part 8 and is converted to serial data by the converting part 7.
