PURPOSE:To attain mass-production by cutting out a chip resonator from a board where a conductor layer is provided to the entire outer face including a throughhole inner circumferential face. CONSTITUTION:A mother board 11 through which a throughhole 12 is made is formed with a conductor layer by a means such as throughhole plating or chemical plating of copper over the entire outer face including the throughhole inner circumferential face. Then a strip electrode 14 passing through each throughhole 12 arranged in series is formed by removing an unnecessary part by means such as photo etching. Then the mother board 11 is cut off (shown in one-dash chain lines) among strip electrodes 14, at positions at a right angle to the strip electrodes 14 and passing through the throughhole 12 and among throughholes 12 and the chip resonator is cut out. Since the conductor layer of the throughholes 12 connects an earth plate 16 at the rear side and the strip electrodes 14 surely, the reliability of the chip resonator is high and since plural chip resonators are cut off at once from the one mother board 11, the system is suitable for mass-production. |
