PURPOSE:To enable an opening to be opened comparatively wide by restraining a slide roof from being while it is in a titled condition so as to allow it to be opened after it has been made in parallel with a car roof once. CONSTITUTION:In order to open a slide roof 4 which is in a closed position of an opening 3, a rear pantograph 10 is allowed to rise permitting the rear end of the roof 4 to be raised upward. Then, a front pantograph 9 is allowed to rise permitting the front end of the slide roof 4 to be raised. The permits the roof 4 in discussion to be made in parallel with a roof 1. Subsequently, under this condition, the front pantograph 9 is allowed to be pushed afterward along the stationary rail 7 permitting the slide roof 4 to move afterward side by side. This allows the opening 3 to be widely opened. When the opening is required to be closed, the above-mentioned roof open travel device is operated by reversing the procedure. |
