摘要 PURPOSE:To make an outer diameter of a shaft flange smaller while securing ample axial bearing force, by giving magnetic flux of a magnetic circuit, to be formed by each electromagnet coil, free run of the shaft flange by way of each corresponding end face and outer circumferential surface of the flange. CONSTITUTION:Coil 24B, 24C and 25B, 25C of an electromagnet 26 from a magnetic circuit consisting of magnetic flux shown by respective sings B1 and B2 as composition of a bias magnetic field and control magnetic field over the whole circumference of each coil. the magnetic flux B1 of these coils 24 enters an end face 27 of a shaft flange 21 by way of an end face air gap 33 from an inner end face 29 of an iron core 23, going round its outer circumferential surface 31, and it passes through a circumferential air gap 35 therefrom, entering an inner circumferential surface 32 of the iron core 23, and closed after going round up to the inner end face 29 in the iron core 23. Likewise, the magnetic flux B2, where the coil 25 generates, forms a closed circuit as in the following that an inner end face 30 of the iron core 23 an end face air gap 34 an end face 28 of the shaft flange 21 the outer circumferential surface 31 the circumferential air gap 35 an inner circumferential surface 32 of the iron core 23 the inner end face 30.
