PURPOSE:To enable the titled device to make copying of successive sheets of paper while making stapling by installing plural compiler trays and using and changing them according to the state of progress of processing. CONSTITUTION:When the number of sets is more than two, a controlling section 40 checks whether the last page of copying paper of number of sets being carried to a compiler tray 23 or 28 passed a sensor 25 or 30. If it is the last page, it is judged whether the counted value of the number of sets is even number or not. In the case of even number, a gate 21 is switched by driving an electromagnetic actuator 22 to supply copying paper of successive number from the tray 23 to 28. If the counted value of the number of sets is odd number, the gate 21 is controlled to be switched from the tray 28 to 23. Copies of odd number is stapled by the compiler tray 23 and copies of even number are stapled by the compiler tray 28, and copying paper is supplied to two compiler trays alternately. |
