PURPOSE:To make a cylinder operatable even if a diaphragm is damaged, by installing a subpiston inside the cylinder in addition to a main piston being operated by the diaphragm. CONSTITUTION:A main piston 4 to be reciprocated by a diaphragm 3 and subpiston 6 being opposed to this main piston 4 and free of slide motion both are housed in a cylinder 2. And, a service air port P1 is installed in position between the main piston 4 and the subpiston 6 while an emergency air port P2 in the cylinder 2 on the back on the subpiston 6, respectively. With this constitution, when the diaphragm 3 is damaged, the main piston 4 and the subpiston 6 are unitized in one, feeding the subpiston 6 with emergency air, whereby continuous operation is performable. |
