PURPOSE:To enable to generate hot air rapidly in a car heater after starting an engine, by furnishing a combustor arranging an evaporation pipe with a fuel injection nozzle at the top, in an oblique position therein. CONSTITUTION:A car heater has a rapid heating combustor 4 and a heat exchanger 5 in the middle of an air duct between an air cleaner 2 and an air intake pipe 3. And the rapid heating combustor 4 has two combustion chambers 42 and 43 separated by a honey comb passage 44 in a housing 41, as well as an evaporation pipe 9 with an evaporation glow plug 91 arranged oblique penetrating from the bottom of the combustion chamber outlet 48 to the center of the first combustion chamber 42, to evaporate the fuel fed from a fuel pump 7. The fuel to evaporate is mixed with air and then burnt, the burnt gas is heat-exchanged with the outer air 10, and hot air flow is obtained to feed to a blow-off outlet 11. |
