PURPOSE:To enable remaining fuel to be sucked out by means of a piston allowing a fuel feeding to be quickly suspended by arranging a shut-off valve equipped with the piston within a fuel feed device connected to an evaporator of a combustor arranged with an air duct of an automobile heater. CONSTITUTION:A quick heating combuster 4 and a heat exchanger 5 are arranged on the half way of a pipe from an air cleaner 2 to an air suction pipe. Here, the quick heating combuster 4 incorporates not only two combustion chambers 42 and 43 partitioned by a honeycomb path 44 which enables air to pass through, within a housing 41 but also incorporates an evaporator 7 in a pipe from arranged obliquely so as to vaporize fuel fed from a fuel pump 23 by way of a fuel feed device 8. The fuel feed device 8 incorporates a piston section 82a equipped with an shut-off valve 82, an opening action of which is controlled by an electromagnetic coil 83. This configuration enables remaining fuel in the evaporator 7 to be sucked out by way of connecting pipes 75 and 84 linked with a slide motion of the piston 82a when a fuel feeding is suspended. |
