FUEL INJECTION DEVICE FOR DIESEL ENGINE

PURPOSE:To facilitate a restart of a Diesel engine and to decrease an oscillation in idling by providing a delivery valve and a bypass in a fuel supply passage and providing a selector valve for supplying a discharged fuel to a fuel injection nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A fuel supply passage for supplying the fuel discharged from a fuel injection pump a to a fuel injection nozzle 7 is provided with a delivery valve 33 and a bypass 37 for bypassing the delivery valve 33. Also, an electromagnetically operated valve 38 is provided for supplying the discharged fuel to the fuel injection nozzle 7 through the delivery valve 33 in the low load region of an engine, and through the bypass 37 in the high load region of the engine. An oscillation a vibration can be thereby reduced and the restart of the engine can be facilitated when the engine runs out of fuel.
