PURPOSE:To reduce welding man-hour as a whole by erecting a plurality of floor plates with stiffeners on a girder plate placed horizontally and the installing longitudinals to the floor plates so that the longitudinals are fitted to the corresponding floors' slots. CONSTITUTION:A bracket 3, a stiffener 4, etc. are placed vertically on a floor plate member 2 placed horizontally in advance and they are fixed to the member 2 through horizontal fillet welding. A plurality of floor plate members 2 are erected on a girder plate member 8 placed horizontally in advance and fixed through horizontal fillet welding. Next, a plurality of longitudinal members 1 and 1' are inserted into slots 6 (6') of each floor plate member 2 and joined to the corresponding brackets 3 and the stiffeners 4 through horizontal fillet welding. With this contrivance, welding work can be done by horizontal fillet welding, which is relatively easy to carry out, and moreover the welding man- hour as a whole can be reduced.
