PURPOSE:To perform the reproduction of signals despite of a head clogging phenomenon and to improve the reliability of a digital signal recording system, by switching successively plural recording means to carry out a recording job in a recording area. CONSTITUTION:The converted digital signals are supplied through terminals 101 and 102, and a multiplexer 11 gives the time division processing to the data on two channels and sends them to a data bus 12. These data are stored temporarily to a data RAM13, and the addresses of blocks having different samples between odd and even orders are designated in a writing mode. Then the data are sent out again to the bus 12 and an FCC generator 14 produces the error correction and detection codes. In this case, such operations are repeated as the read-out operation from the RAM13, the generation of an error correction code by the generator 14 and the rewriting cycle to the RAM13. Thus the data are supplied to a modulator 15 via the bus 12 and modulated. Then the modulation outputs of two systems are supplied to a selector 16, and the selected recording signals drive heads 181-184 via a recording amplifier 17 for execution of a recording job.
