PURPOSE:To improve planeness and productivity by specifying the Rockwell hardness of a vibration absorbing member provided between a rotary holding member and a workpiece in a cutting jig for mirror-surface like machining for a thin walled cylindrical member such as a magnetic disk, etc. CONSTITUTION:A vibration absorbing member 2 made of polyvinyl chloride, polycarbonate, and ABS resin and adjusted to have a Rockwell hardness HRM60-90, is installed between a rotary holding member 1 and a workpiece 11. And, a gap 3 is formed between the rotary member 1 and the vibration absorbing member 2, while the both end parts of the workpiece 11 are made a fit without a gap, and a taper part 10 is installed in between and stopped. The workpiece 11 is fixed to this jig and mirror-surface like finishing is carried out, achieving both surface planeness and accuracy and improving productivity. |
