PURPOSE:To obtain an ink ribbon cassette prevented from chattering, by providing a locating slit to an arm and further providing a locating rib. CONSTITUTION:A locating slit part 14 is formed to the lower end surface of an arm 8 and has an inclined surface 14b to a slit 14a and holds the locating flat pawl 16a protruded from the arm support arm 16 of a shaking plate 2 in a state engaged with the slit 14a while guides the same along said inclined surface 14b. Flat plate shaped ribs 17, 18 for fixing a cassette to the shaking plate 12 are protruded from both side surfaces of a cassette main body 4 and fixed pawls 20 energizing the shaking plate 2 to a direction B around a shaft 21 by a spring 19 is attached to the position corresponding to the ribs 17, 18 of the shaking plate 2 in a revolvable manner. A rear end rib 24 is engaged with a locating notch part 2b and prevents the shaking of the cassette main body 4 to the shaking plate 2 at the rear end part of said main body 4 and enhances the locating accuracy of the cassette in connection with the slit part 14.
