发明名称 PREHEATING AND ADDING METHOD OF COMPONENT ADJUSTING MATERIAL FOR MOLTEN IRON
摘要 PURPOSE:To increase the dissolving amt. of a component adjusting material and to improve economically the yield thereof by preheating the component adjusting material by the radiation heat of a molten iron under tapping and adding said material into the molten iron. CONSTITUTION:An additive alloy guide pipe 6 is disposed to the inside of a cover 5 provided above a molten iron spout 2 and a tilting spout 3 so as to run along the spout 2 and to face the molten iron 1 flowing downward in the spout 2 and the additive alloy which is the component adjusting material to be introduced through an additive alloy feed port 8 is added through such pipe into the molten iron 1 in the stage of receiving the tapped iron 1 through the above-mentioned spouts into a molten iron pan 4. The additive alloy is preheated by the radiation heat of the molten iron 1 during the down flow in the pipe 6 and is added to the molten iron 1 on the spout 2. The additive alloy is mixed and stirred during the successive inflow into the spout 3 and the pan 4 and is thereby efficiently dissolved into the molten iron 1. The further additional preheating of the additive alloy from the inside of the pipe 6 is made possible by the construction in which the above-mentioned radiation heat is sucked and passed through the pipe 6 and a duct 7.
