PURPOSE:To obtain a transmission line coupler which is excellent in its transmission frequency characteristic, small in its transmission loss, and also small in size, in case of transmitting a high frequency signal through an insulator, by providing coaxially an external conductor on the outside of a helical conductor, and providing a printed board having a circular arcuate pattern, on the end face of the external conductor. CONSTITUTION:On the outside of helical conductors 111, 121, external conductors 112, 122 are placed so as to be roughly coaxial to said helical conductors 111, 121, and a connecting means for connecting electrically one end of said helical conductors 111, 121 and an inner wall of the external conductors 112, 122 is provided. Also, printed boards 14, 24 having circular arcuate conductive patterns 14a 24a, and printed board fixing means for fixing the printed boards 14, 24 so that the conductive patterns 14a, 24a are installed in a plane formed by the end face of the external conductors 112, 122, and a contact means for making the other end of the helical conductors 111, 121 contact to the conductive patterns 14a, 24a are provided. In this state, a ratio of the inside diameter of the external conductors 112, 122 and the outside diameter of the helical conductors 111, 121 is set within a range of 1.1-2.0.
