PURPOSE:To provide a grouting material which eliminates acid radicals in the ground water to thereby keep water quality, by adding an alkaline earth metal compd. to an acidic silica sol obtd. by mixing sulfuric acid with waterglass. CONSTITUTION:An alkaline earth metal compd. (e.g. CaCo3) in a quantity of at least 5 times by mol that of sulfuric acid to be used and optionally a gelation modifier (e.g. NaHCO3) are added to an acidic silica sol having a pH of 3 or above, obtd. by mixing an aq. sulfuric acid soln. with waterglass. |
