PURPOSE:To decrease the number of circuit parts, to improve the stability of a circuit, and to reduce the cost by obtaining two signals having a phase difference of 90 degrees relatively from one signal, switching successively and alternately its two signals by a switching period of half of a period of a carrier wave, and multiplying its output signal and the carrier wave. CONSTITUTION:An output signal of a 90 deg. phase shifter 2 is supplied to a contact (a). A movable contact (v) of a changeover switch 3 is switched successively and alternately to a fixed contact (a) side and a fixed contact (b) side by a signal having a period of 1/2 of a period of a carrier wave supplied to an input terminal 4, and an output signal from the changeover switch 3 is supplied to an analog multiplier 6. An output signal from a 1/2 frequency divider 5 is also supplied to the analog multiplier 6, and the analog multiplier 6 executes a multiplying operation of the output signal from the changeover switch 3, which is supplied to said multiplier, and the output signal from the 1/2 frequency divider 5. When an output signal from the analog multiplier 6 is sent out to an output terminal 7 through a circuit 13 having an eliminating function of high frequency component, a single side-band signal is sent out to the output terminal 7.
