PURPOSE:To enable an online tempering treatment of a weld zone by forming a titled train in such a way that said train can be used for a normalizing or annealing treatment of the weld zone and can be also used for the normalizing or annealing treatment as well as the tempering treatment after hardening of the weld zone. CONSTITUTION:Induction heaters 11A-11D on the upper stream side and induction heaters 11E-11H on the down stream side are disposed attachably and detachably to and from each other to the induction heater train for the weld zone of an electric welded steel pipe disposed with, for example, eight units of the induction heaters 11A-11H. A hardening device 12 is made mountable between the heaters 11A-11D on the upper stream side and the heaters 11E-11H on the down stream side which are disposed attachably and detachably to and from each other. The device 12 is constituted of a forced water cooling piping 24 and a stop valve 25. |
