PURPOSE:To obtain an alloy which welds surely to silicon ceramics by incorporating a specific ratio in sum total of 1 or >=2 kinds of elements among group V elements and incorporating 1 or 2 kinds among Fe, Ni and Co as essential components into said alloy. CONSTITUTION:The weldably alloy is constituted by contg. the elements of 1 or >=2 kinds among the group V elements at 10-80% in sum total and consisting of the balance Fe, Ni and Co alone or the mixture composed thereof or the elements replaced partly with the other 3rd and 4th elements. The powder of the alloy of this invention in a slurry state is coated on the adhering surface of a sintered body of silicon nitride, Sialon and the ceramics contg. the same and the sintered body is joined by heating under the reduced pressure. The reaction layer is formed extremely little in the joint part obtd. in such a manner and the good joint part having the excellent strength is obtd.
