PURPOSE:To prevent a picture from deteriorating due to flaws or a film from damaging at the transfer of the film and to check the existence of a rolled film in a camera simply when the existence is uncertain by discriminating a film surface, back paper and the rolled film to detect the existence of the rolled film in a transfer course. CONSTITUTION:A photodetector 22 of the 1st photoelectric detecting member 7 is turned to low impedance only when opposed to the film because the 1st reflecting member 6a has a low reflecting surface and the output (point A, output A) of the succeeding comparator 23 is turned to the low level when the member 7 is opposed to the film and turned to the high level when the reflecting member 6a is opposed to the back paper. Since the 2nd reflecting member 6b is constituted as a high reflecting surface, a photodetector 25 is turned to low impedance when the 2nd photoelectric detecting member 8 is opposed to the 2nd reflecting member 6b and the film and the output (point B, output B) of the succeeding comparator 26 is turned to the low level. Thus, the simple circuit can detect the existence of the rolled film when the level of the output A is the same as that of the output B and the absence of the rolled film when both the levels are different.
