PURPOSE:To decrease the number of data to be preserved by sampling the data in the min. position necessary for data analysis and preserving data. CONSTITUTION:The data is sampled in respective two equidistant positions S and S' between a peak start PS and peak top PT as well as between the peak top PT and peak end PE and the data is reduced at total 7 points by which the considerable reduction in the number of data points is made possible. The approximate shape of the original peaks is reproduced if the data obtd. in the 7 sampling positions PS, 2S, PT, 2S' and PE are connected by straight lines and therefore the subsequent data analysis is satisfactorily possible.
