PURPOSE:To widen the adhering and growing area of frost on the surface of fins, elongate a time until blockading a space between fins by frosting and improve heat transfer performance by a method wherein first and second fins, which are formed with multiple cut-and-rises, opened toward both sides, in the directions of step and row with specified arrangement, are piled alternately in parallel with a predetermined pitch. CONSTITUTION:The cut-and-rises 3, opened toward both sides, are formed so as to be in parallel to the direction of main airflow shown by arrow signs in the diagram. The cut-and-rises are formed so as to satisfy the relation of A 4P, B 2P wherein A means the pitch of step of openings 4, B means the size in the direction of step and P means the height of fin collar 5 or a fin pitch, therefore, H is approximately equal to P when the height of cut-and-rise 3, opened toward both sides, is indicated by H. The openings 4, neighboring in the direction of row, are arranged by deviating by 1/2A respectively into the direction of step. Under the condition that the first fin 1a and the second fin 1b are piled alternately, the positions of respective openings 4 of neighboring first fin 1a and second fin 1b are arranged so as to be coinciding in the direction of row but so as to be deviated by 1/2A in the direction of step with respect to the same row. |
