PURPOSE:To prevent the lateral oscillation of a shield holder, by providing a plurality of hooking parts to the rotational circumference of a supporting member, and fixing one end of assistant wires hooked to the hooking parts to the shield holder and fixing the other end to a weight. CONSTITUTION:The upper frame 15 is attached above the lower frame 12 containing the crucible 13 filled with molten silicon 14. The neck part 15a furnished with a supporting member 16 rotatable round a vertical axis is placed above the upper frame 15, and a hoist 19 is placed on the horizontal table 17 of the supporting member 16. One end of the wire 20 is wound round the hoist 19, and a seed holder 21 is attached to the other end of the wire. Plurality of arms 23 inclined gradually outward from the top to the bottom are placed along the rotational direction of the cylindrical part 18 of the supporting member 16 at regular intervals. A rotary hooking part 24 is attached to the lower end of each arm 23, and an assistant wire 25 is hooked on the hook wherein one end of the wire is fixed to the holder 21 and the other end is fixed to a ring-shaped weight 26. |
